Ultrasound is a diagnostic test that uses high-powered sound waves through a probe to the tissue or organ to be examined, and reflects to create images. This allows various organs to be examined, revealing any abnormalities, and can aid in the doctor’s diagnosis. The images can be either 2D images that move continuously according to the movement of the probe at that time, or can be used to create 3D and 4D images, similar to taking photographs, such as when examining a fetus. In addition to being harmless, ultrasound examinations can also be performed without the patient feeling any pain in the area being examined, apart from slight pressure.

There is also technology to detect liver fibrosis and measure the amount of fat accumulated in the liver for patients at risk, all at once quickly and precisely, to diagnose and plan treatment, so that patients will not experience any pain or complications during and after the examination.
